Deskdrop for Linux
Headless and scriptable.
A lean Rust daemon that runs as a systemd user service, syncs your clipboard on Wayland or X11, and answers to a full command-line client.

Only on Linux
Made for where it runs.
Everything Deskdrop does everywhere, plus the things that only make sense on Linux.
systemd user service
Starts with your session once the network is up, and restarts itself if it ever stops.
Desktop notifications
Transfers, clips and pairing requests arrive through notify-send, rate limited so they never flood.
deskdrop-cli
Status, devices, history, transfers and metrics from the terminal, over the same local socket.
Wayland and X11
Text and image clipboard sync on whichever display server you run.
Scriptable
Push text, send files, or export history as CSV or JSON from any script.
Pair from the terminal
Approve, reject, rename or revoke devices with one command, no GUI needed.
Under the hood
Native on top. Rust underneath.
The app you see is written for this platform. The engine that finds devices, encrypts and resumes is the same Rust core on every one of them.
